Fire water gun: It is a water jet tool for extinguishing fire. It will spray dense and substantial water flow when connected with the hose. It has the advantages of long range and large water volume.
According to different jet forms and characteristics, it can be divided into: DC water gun, multi-function water gun, etc. The commonly used water guns are DC and multifunctional water guns.
1. DC water gun
The water jet sprayed by the DC water gun is columnar, with a long range, large flow, and strong impact. It is used for fighting general solid material fires and auxiliary cooling when extinguishing fires. Generally can be divided into ordinary DC water gun, drop switch DC water gun. Switching the DC water gun is to increase the composition of the ball valve switch and other components, and the water flow can be controlled by the switch.
According to the working pressure range of the water gun, it is divided into: a) low pressure water gun (0.2MPa-1.6MPa); b) medium pressure water gun (>1.6MPa-2.5MPa) c) high pressure water gun (>2.5MPa-4.0MPa).
2. Multifunctional water gun:
It can spray both direct current jets and mist jets, and some can also spray water curtains, and several water streams can be interchanged and used in combination, with good maneuverability and good adaptability to the fire scene. It has the advantages of adjusting the flow rate and jet state, and it is convenient to straighten out the twisting and knotting phenomenon of the hose.
Usage and precautions
1 Open the fire hydrant door, take out the hose and water gun.
2 Check whether the hose and joints are in good condition. If they are damaged, do not use them.
3 Lay the hose in the direction of the fire, taking care to avoid twisting
4 Connect the hose to the fire hydrant, insert the connecting buckle into the chute accurately, and tighten it in a clockwise direction.
5 After the connection is completed, at least two operators should hold the water gun firmly and aim at the fire source (it is strictly forbidden to face people to avoid high pressure injury). Another operator slowly opens the fire hydrant valve to the maximum, and sprays at the root of the fire source to extinguish the fire. Until the fire is completely extinguished.
